Very thoughtful. Even though we had to check-out very early and couldn't stay for breakfast, the chef prepared us great sandwiches to take away. They were lovely and we appreciated the thoughtfulness. The hotel is great, nice and warm in the winter, a tad too warm maybe. Thank you

We chose Restaurant Podu cu Lanțuri for our daughter’s christening, and the whole experience was beyond our expectations from start to finish. When searching for a venue in Bacău, we were recommended this restaurant and got in touch with Mr. George. Even though I was thousands of kilometres away, from the very first call he inspired calm, professionalism, and the confidence that we had made the right choice. From that moment until after the event, we were constantly impressed by his availability, flexibility, and kindness. It was truly an example of customer service that is rare to find, even in big European cities. What impressed us the most was that the team here always tried their very best to make every guest happy. For example, even though it was a bank holiday and shops were closed, when our AC broke down, they still managed to find someone who sourced the spare part needed to fix it right away. We really appreciate their care and promptness! The restaurant itself is like a fairytale , with décor that feels historic, a beautiful garden, delicious food, and very comfortable rooms (we stayed for 3 nights, before and after the christening) I’ve seen a few complaints about breakfast, but honestly, those seem overly picky. The breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold dishes, milk, kefir, juice, fruits, and more. The food was warm, not “boiling hot,” which is absolutely fine. As a pilot and a cabin crew who have traveled extensively around the world, we can confidently say the breakfast here was very good, and we appreciated it a lot. We also want to thank Mrs. Celina, our waitress during the christening, who was extremely kind and attentive, making sure all our guests had everything they needed. A big thank you as well to the reception staff for their friendliness. We are so happy we chose Podu cu Lanțuri for such an important moment in our lives, and we wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful place!!!
