Beautiful position on the lagoon. Host was welcoming and very helpful. Good breakfast with eggs, fruit and coffee. Comfortable room and good shower.

The host (Eduardo) was could not have been more helpful regarding all aspects of our stay. The two waterfront rooms are excellent with large decks overlooking the lake. Make sure you book one of these rooms (I would have been disappointed with either of the two rooms at the back). Good restaurant about 100 yds/mtrs from the accommodation and several more close by. About 20 minute walk to town center. Kayaks available on site. Would definitely stay here again.

Villa Marilu is one of a kind. A stunning location with a view over crystal clear waters and a lotus filled jetty where you can paddle out to the lagoon and view the cenotes close-up, using the villa’s free kayaks. A fabulous room with a view of the sun rise every day over the water. A delicious breakfast served on a stunning balcony. But the greatest surprise about this place is Eduardo himself. He is so kind so helpful and he has the best sense of humour. He makes the place what it is. A peaceful oasis close enough to town to walk in and far enough away to be peaceful. All you can hear is the lapping water of the lagoon. We will be back to see you Eduardo! We miss your place already.
