The location is absolutely stunning, with turquoise water right in front of the hotel and a quick kayak to the Emerald cenotes. We loved the free access to the paddle boards and kayaks, the view, the boat trip that we organised (extra) with Manuel and the beautiful hotel and grounds. They also have a lovely shop with beautiful things to buy.

The location of the property is excellent. Not far away from the center of Bacalar and also with direct access to the lagoon. The staff is very nice and the hotel also offers a free kayak rental which was a massive plus. We loved the fact that full breakfast was included and there was a variety of excellent quality food. Apart from the restaurant, they also have a bar and the drinks were delicious. Would definitely stay again.

We had one of the 4 small wooden bungalows by the water. The air condition cooled down the room very well in the night. The bathrooms (located in the main building by the restaurant) were spacious - and even though they were labeled as shared bathrooms, you would be able to lock yourself in and enjoy privacy while taking a shower. The location itself has stunning views! The color of the water is truly mesmerizing and you can swim and plunge in the shallow water from morning til evening. The water is only a bit deep by the jetty but once you swim 2-3 pulls out, it's shallow and nice. We loved sitting by the jetty and enjoying a nice Margherita until sunset. You can rent Kayaks for free in the afternoon until 5:30 pm. I think this Hotel is also perfect for families with small kids as it also has a small, shallow pool with beach chairs around.

The location of this place is unbeatable. I'm going to miss watching the sunrise from their lovely dock which has hammocks, seats and a roof. Gary at the reception was excellent, he really cares about his clients and the whole athmosphere of the place was lovely. The included breakfast is hands down the best I've had. It has a great selection of freshly cooked delicious options (chilaquiles, omelette, eggs, pancakes, etc) plus tropical fruits with granola and yogurt, and all the coffee you want.
