This is a fantastic location for exploring the gorge. The staff are super nice, especially the young manager was brilliant and the food is good,

Everyone was so incredibly friendly. Etoile des Gorges felt like a home, we thought of staying 4 days but ended up staying two weeks. The Auberge is located right next to the rocks and therefore perfect for climbing. We met a lot of other climbers, there's a great community! Breakfast was included and almost too much, and each day the hotel offered a surprise dinner with starter, main course and fruits for climbers for a very good price (7€/person). But the best thing were the amazing people who work there! I've never met someone as welcoming and open-minded as Majid, genuinely interested in the guests and at the same time telling a lot about Berber culture. I'll never forget the time we spent in this hotel, and I'd encourage every climber to go there :)

Great location north of Tingier, perfect for visiting the gorge. Very good dinner at the on-site restaurant. Room was decent but not outstanding and a bit smelly; quite noisy at night. Lovely rooftop and amazing views right into the canyon.
