Casas de piedade offered us the exact experience we were expecting. The place is authentic and peaceful, full of birds and greenery. Pilar, the host, is extremely kind and ready to help with everything. The apartment itself is equiped with everything you need and just wonderful to be in. And the fresh bread in the morning is really a treat! This is a place that really offers an oasis of peace. Will be back

The renovated old houses are set beside an ancient chapel and open fields with stunning horses, and are close to Quinta da Broa. Recommended for a relaxing weekend getaway.

A group of us booked out all the apartments to stay at for a friends wedding. It was brilliant to be all together, and so close. Each apartment was perfect in size and we were so grateful to have the stocked fridge with cheese, ham, milk, butter, water and jam. The fresh bread that was delivered daily was so fresh and delicious! The pool was huge and lovely to swim in and there were plenty of loungers and outside seating.

All the facilities provided were absolutely in sync with the number of days we stayed there. Very clean and comfortable. But more importantly it felt like home! I like the historical book which was a nice read about the Quinta itself! And I’m very grateful for the care and attention to detail! The warm bread left on the door every morning is why I will go back there again!!! You don’t see these kind of things anymore so it made our days there so special.
