Close to center of Ayvalik. You're greeted with an army of adorable kittens at the portal. Our room was ready when we checked in at 9, so much earlier than the advised check in time. Really comfortable beds. Our host was very sweet and most hospitable, offering olives, coffee or even some juice/nectar his wife made. He also helped us arrange a taxi to the airport from the guesthouse.

The room was clean and tidy and nicely decorated with ample storage space and comfortable beds. It was also quiet. It has a lovely courtyard where a delightful homegrown breakfast was served. The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful providing everything we asked for, and quickly responding to our queries. They were also very friendly.

The location was excellent for seeing the old town and walking to the waterfront. Our host at Otelia was absolutely outstanding, He was kind, caring and went out of his way to help us find car parking and to give us directions. We appreciated being given a coffee on arrival. Our room was well appointed and the courtyard delightful. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious. We highly recommend staying here,
