The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern with a good shower. We were made to feel very welcome. There is an excellent all day diner a short step away.

The lady that greeted me when we arrived was really nice. The room was on the lower ground floor which was bonus as my mum uses sticks. Upon entrance into the room, it looked good. There was tea and coffee making facilities and a tv which seemed to have free Netflix. I know we were at the end of June and a mini heatwave, but the room once hot contained the heat and became very uncomfortable. There was a big window, but I couldn't get it to open all the way. Not the pubs fault, just the weather but it made a pretty nice room become the feeling of very small. The shower was good, if small but plenty of hot water. The towels were fresh and smelt nice and were big so that was really good! The pub closed for a private function in the evening, and we got home before that had finished but we could not hear any noise, it was really nice and quiet.
