Our stay at Archontico Manias was an absolute delight—it exceeded all our expectations! We initially booked for a short escape and were completely won over by the authentic charm and high-quality experience. The rooms are lovely, combining rustic, homey charm with modern comfort. The true highlight, however, is the breathtaking view. Waking up to that panoramic vista every morning felt like a privilege and set a perfect, serene tone for the day. The dinner at Archontico Manias was, without exaggeration, the best meat we have ever tasted on Crete. This is where the hotel truly sets itself apart. The cuisine feels home-made and authentically Cretan, yet the presentation, technique, and sophisticated flavor composition elevate it to a Michelin-star level. Every bite was memorable and clearly crafted with immense passion. Archontico Manias provides a rare combination of warm hospitality, stunning scenery, and world-class dining. We were so impressed that we immediately booked a return visit before checking out. If you are looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience on Crete, look no further. Located in the small mountain village in close driving proximity to Psiloritis. Beautiful view from hotel, great service and communication. Breakfast is hard to beat! It was new every day and huge to the extent that not only I was not feeling hungry till the end of the day, but was packing enough for the daily hike.
