Very lovely, thought through, authentic japanese guest house. All areas were very clean and up to date. Amazing view, very good breakfast and the most amazing hosts. Was the best stay in our japan trip so far, definitely will come back

It's a little off the beaten track but we really loved it! The owners are super friendly and helped us to plan our trip ahead. The place itself is beautiful with a stunning view of the sea... Too shame it was cloudy on sunset

This place was incredible, I booked it last minute as my wife was arriving late and we were travelling by camper so I wanted her to get a good rest. The location feels off grid but it's only a few minutes from Tadao Ando's Water Temple at Honpukuji. It's a exquisitely renovated Minka (old style Japanese home) with a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary. The couple that runs it are so nice. They also have a pottery atelier that they spend their days making wares at and have a nice gallery shop that you can purchase. I recommend the ocean view room. Sunrise was gorgeous. I would return to Awaji just to stay here again.
