Ypical family pub in the middle of Aviemore with a good menu. A bit of road noise with the bedroom window open. Great breakfast and a very attentive waiter. Good location for exploring the area

– Staying here fulfilled a personal dream: sleeping above a bar, just like the old inns of the past. – The location is unbeatable—right in the center of Aviemore, close to a gas station, supermarkets, souvenir shops, and even the visitor information center. – It’s also ideally situated for short getaways into the Cairngorms National Park, whether for hiking, cycling, or visiting nearby lochs. – The rooms are clean, and despite being above a bar, no noise filtered up to the upper floors, making for a restful and comfortable stay. – Breakfast options were varied and among the best we had during our time in Scotland. – Most of all, I want to highlight the outstanding service and friendliness of the entire team—from the manager to the bar and restaurant staff. A special mention goes to the morning breakfast host, whose energy and kindness from the early hours truly made our stay memorable.

Central location. Clean and comfortable room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and generous. We also ate our evening meals here; the grilled chicken salad was probably the tastiest and healthiest meal I've had since arriving a month ago.
