Angnis “The best place to stay on Chios”

Everything was fantastic. The owner of the house went above and beyond to welcome us when we arrived and gave us tips for things to do on the island. The house is charming and has everything you need. The village exceeded our expectations, do not miss to book a table in the local restaurant To Asteri for sunset hour. You need a car but then the entire island is accessible to you.

This is an excellent choice if you want to visit Chios. The house is located at the very middle of a beautiful village, at the centre of the island. Its 2 mins walk from the two parking spaces of the village and the area is super quite and beautiful. The host had predicted everything that a modern traveller will need during their stay. Everything was clean and in order, comms with him very easy and we enjoyed every minute of our stay there.

Avgonyma is a great spot to spend your Chios vacation, assuming you have a car. Likno house is an old Genoavese stone building. It is nicely decorated and can easily accomodate four people. As a family of four, we have enjoyed it very much. The inkeeper Stelios is very nice and helpful. The kitchen is full-fledged. After having our quick home-made toasts in the morning for breakfast, we have headed to one of the nearby beaches. Lithi and Agia Dinami beaches are highly recommended.

The property is a very nice 2 level traditional stone house. Everything is well thought to the very detail and anything that would make our stay more comfortable, was there. It was very clean and cozy! Special mention for the very kind property manager who was always interested in our well being and made us feel like we were hosted by a good friend.
