The restaurant is exceptional with good food and service in a lovely shady garden setting. There was a very warm welcome on arrival and the building is a charming old farm with calm attractive garden despite being next to a busy road. Parking was easy and lots of space. We didn’t have our dog with us but it was good that they accommodated pets. Loved the ducks and geese in the grounds.

Lovely characterful building, very friendly staff, good stop-over point. Basic rooms, but I didn't mind as was only sleeping there for one night.
