The rooms and facilities are basic but perfectly functional and comfortable. The owner was so helpful and welcoming even though he had very little English and we had very little French. He did everything he could to make our stay as pleasant as possible and even booked us a local restaurant

A local French hotel, much as it might have been for years: a proper door key to fit separate entrance and bedroom, spotlessly clean room and comfortable bed, breakfast downstairs in the bar amongst welcoming local customers, and magical ancient town to explore literally on the doorstep. Although basic (no lift, one towel each, no mirror in the bedroom) the friendliness and enthusiasm of the owner and staff was a refreshing change from the anonymity of the auto-checkin hotels & apartments we are increasingly encountering. We speak little French, the owner spoke no English, but this guy made us feel more welcome than any hotel we've stayed in for years. Loved the whole experience. Incredible value and great memories.

Brilliant location in the centre of town. Quiet despite that. The couple went out of their way to meet my needs. Kitchen available if one has need of it on a longer stay. Fascinating traditional French building with a nicely updated room.
