This two bedroom air conditioned/heated apartment is ideally situated in the heart of downtown Austin on the famous E 6th Street, the heart of music and affordable dining and the apartment is walkable to the Capitol Building in Austin. The apartment is extremely spacious with a well equipped kitchen and two loft bedrooms (one with a balcony) and a bathroom. Parking is available in an adjoining multi storey car park with parking spots adjacent to the apartment entrance on the 5th Level. We dined at Dead Rabbit Irish Bar directly opposite which was excellent. Recommend the Chowder Soup. The visitor centre is blocks 2 blocks away and an easy walk. We booked a city minivan tour which was very good value and very interesting and covered large areas of Austin City Centre and its suburbs.
