Rob “Fabulous views, spotlessly clean, close to town”

I don’t often give a 10 out of 10, but the Svingen is an exception. We have never found a cleaner guest house, very comfortable bed, fabulous fully equipped kitchen, fabulous views and such delightful staff Cathy and Joe. The Svingen an easy 5 minute walk to all the transport and town attractions.

Immaculately clean. Friendly meeting on arrival. Free milk, coffee, tea, spices etc for cooking. Loves the view from our room and the deck.

Beautiful interiors, everything was pretty and spotlessly clean. The view from the house and the communal balcony was absolutely stunning. The location was fantastic, only five mins walk from Flam station and the boat trips but in a peaceful corner of the marina. Although the bathrooms were shared we never had any issues, there was always a bathroom available when you needed it and again, they were spotlessly clean. There was a big communal kitchen with lots of free equipment and bits and pieces to use, e.g. milk, oil, herbs, tea and coffee. There was even a fresh coffee pot brewed for everyone in the morning. You can also leave your luggage which was really convenient. It was such a lovely place to stay, my only regret is that we didn't book a second night.
