It has a perfect location in the middle of old town. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Service minded staff. Breakfast was good.

Superb location right next to the Rathaus (obviously!). Easy self check-in, but the lift needs a bit of working out - there are two sets of buttons the ones on the left are for the apartments, the ones on the right are for the hotel rooms. The lift will automatically open on the apartment side. To get it to open on the hotel room side insert your room key in the right hand slot at the top of the button pad, turn it clockwise (I think) and press the correct floor on the right hand side of the button pad and hey presto the doors open on the other side of the lift. Well worth it, I promise, since the rooms are super, the breakfasts great and the staff outstanding.

The staff were very nice and friendly. It was clean. The location was very good. Check-in and check-out were easy. There were no unnecessary pre-payments or document scans, WhatsApp messages or interruptions to your privacy! I really appreciate hotels that manage to have staff.

Location is excellent, just off the main square in Augsburg. Train station is about a 15min walk, and it's close to all the major sights.
