Hostel Overview

YMCA Hostel offers budget accommodation in the heart of Auckland CBD (Central Business District). Guests have access to a shared kitchenette, an outdoor seating area and lounge room with billiards and cable TV.
The bars and clubs of Karangahape Road are a 2-minute walk from YMCA Hostel Auckland. It is 5 minutes’ walk to the city’s best shopping on Queen Street.
All rooms include a small refrigerator, a heater and bed linen. There is also a wardrobe and work desk in each room. YMCA Hostel offers separate female and mixed dorm rooms.
YMCA Auckland is only 15 minutes’ walk from The University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology (AUT). It is a 10-minute walk to the bars, restaurants and cafes of Ponsonby.

Loved the location, cleanliness was excellent (bathrooms and common areas were cleaned daily), room is equipped with all basic amenities, a 24/7 reception to help you out, decent wi-fi.
