The hotel idea was ok, we knew where we were coming from. We stayed one night, a night that was a surprise/joke for our friends. We weren't bothered by the rooms or the decor, but out of the 6 rooms they booked, no one slept, doors were slamming all night, on all floors, you could hear people coming into the room, that's how it sounded. The windows facing the street were very noisy, I don't know what thermal windows are but you could tell you were sitting with the window open even though it was closed. I didn't have the remote control for the TV, for the air conditioning, I had to ask and the one for the air didn't work, I couldn't turn off the air, the mattress was very hard, I was told by the reception that it was uncomfortable. Although I am a smoker, I do not agree with smoking in the rooms, it smells execrable, in the hallway and in the rooms of tobacco plus it is very dangerous considering that all the rooms are lined with all kinds of materials, curtains everywhere, carpets quite fluffy. Big mistake, it smells horror throughout the hotel

Xcite Hotel Salem was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a short and quiet stay. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything I needed, including a large bed and modern bathroom. The staff were professional and discreet, which I appreciated. Although it’s a bit outside the city center, it’s easy to reach by car, and there’s parking available. A good option if you’re looking for privacy and comfort.

The stay at this Hotel was just perfect: attentive and open to any request staff, room (talking for the King Suite) very large and clean, equipped with all comforts, as well as the private bathroom (equipped with personal care products) and the jacuzzi. The location of the Hotel is good but not optimal for getting around, even if there are several public transport options that can be easily used at any time. Overall, a wonderful quality/price ratio place to spend some time with your partner. Highly recommended and worth trying experience!

Never realised the type of Hotel. Booking.com did send us a message after we’d booked and paid. Staff were excellent and it was directly opposite the Clinic in Agriopoli Athens 50 metres
