I recently stayed at a place in Athens that had a lot of positives, but also a few drawbacks. Location-wise, it’s quite good – close to the centre and convenient for exploring the city. However, while there is a tram station nearby, it wasn’t in operation during my stay. That meant I had to walk uphill to reach the nearest metro station, which might be a bit tiring, especially in the heat or if you're carrying luggage. The apartment itself is spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of room to move around, and it didn't feel cramped at all. That said, the bathroom layout leaves a lot to be desired. The toilet seat is very tight and awkwardly positioned. If you're a larger person, it may be uncomfortable. It feels like the bathroom design didn’t consider comfort or practicality. Overall, the stay was decent. If you're fit and don’t mind a bit of a hilly walk and tight bathroom quarters, the location and space might make it worth it.

Loved the location, easy to walk to transport if you needed or through the old town streets to the main parts of Athens. I walked a lot! It was quiet and off the main road. Yes it was the basement studio apartment but I still had lots of natural light and almost a mini backgarden but no one ever walked that street or looked in. The shower was so powerful and hot, small but did the job. The bed was large and comfortable. Easy access to the key and check in.
