This guesthouse is located in the Elephantine island and so one can enjoy the wide city view from its roof balcony. Very close to the public ferry boat dock, but one needs to walk up a small/short slope to reach the house, and then climb its stairs a little with your suitcases to your room. Kindly, however, the house owner helped us carry the suitcase upstairs.

Absolutely shocked at the amount of care we were shown as 2 pensioners with disabilities, on arrival our room was up 2 flights of stairs i told the manager Mohamed we would have a problem and immediately he upgraded us to a family room on bottom floor at no xtra cost , the room was immaculate modern beautiful new beds with spotless bedding ,big shower room with soap and shower gell clean towels ,and attentive manager who even offered breakfast in our room as I was sick one morning, big breakfast 2 breads salad fruit eggs cheese yogurt jam and foul , he even bought a new kettle so I could have tea in our room , there are 2 terraces from the roof you can see for miles in all directions ,it is literally, 3 mins from the ferry dock at 15 eygyptian cost each way 20p , we Absolutely loved our stay its close to everything falukas to nubian village trips to Abu symbal can all be arranged by mohamed ,also its a 5 minute walk to king Jamaica resturaunt were the food is fab at reasonable prices ,aswan is alcohol free mostly except hotels and an occasional bar the dreams bar directly connected to Jamaica does sell beer and lager if you need a pint 190 eygyptian, elephantine island and this hotel will stay in my fondest memories, thanks to all xx

Stayed for 7 nights so booked the large Family Room for 2 to give more space Two floors up kitchenette on balcony to use. One floor up rooftop area. View down to South ferry. Shower hot and efficient. Breakfast good for the day. Ahmed very attentive and helpful
