Emily Lian Ji “Good for being in the airport but have to put up with inadequacies”

The best thing was its location. From the airport exit to the left. It is tucked away round the bend of the building. I booked 2 nights cos I arrived after midnight. So it was great to “immediately” get to the hotel. Then I also had an early flight out after the second night. So it makes sense to be there at the airport. No stress catching my flight. Tried to take a bus the next day to town but the bus driver didn’t accept my money. You need their app to scan the QR code and buy a ticket. So I got a taxi. I think the driver over charged me. The airport staff says it should about 2000 tenge but he charged me 4000 tenge. On the way back I managed to get some youngsters to buy the ticket for me and they didn’t even want me to pay them back. It was only 110 tenge but yah thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality to a foreigner who don’t speak the local language.

The hotel is actually in the terminal of the Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev airport which is great location for people on a stopover. Some rooms have a view to the airfield which is great news for avgeeks. The room was very large, furniture basic, but ergonomic. Perfect place for a one night stay between flights. Check in straightforward and fast. Vast selection of snacks and drinks in room minibar. I would definitely return to the hotel if I ever need a transfer in Astana again.

A comfortable and clean room. Friendly staff. Close to the airport. All the flight info on sight. Cafes, canteen, shops, bus stop to the city within a walking distance.

Good no frills hotel in Astana airport. Its useful if you have an early flight and don't want to have to get a taxi from Astana. Room was clean and quiet despite being at the airport.
