I really liked the cost of the facility and the nice staff who could help you with any questions. I didn't have to wait for check-in or check-out, and my room was clean. The place is under construction, but it didn't bother me during my stay at the hotel. Overall, the breakfast and the location — though far from the city center (in Astana there is no real city center) — were good for that price.

The rooms were a little tired but the bed was super comfy and the hotel was very quiet. Staff were friendly and the free breakfast was a bonus

This is a good hotel, not a great hotel. The sign at the front of the hotel reads as JELSOMINO Boutique Hotel. There is nothing boutique about this hotel. It is a good three star hotel. Nothing more, nothing less. The staff are very helpful and friendly and assisted me with all my requests. My room was spacious and clean but like many hotels these days poorly lit. The heating was adequate (just) given it was way below zero outside. The breakfast was fine but very basic. The location of the hotel is not near the main tourist sights. It is a 30 minute bus trip to reach the Khan Shatyr for example. But it was relatively close to the main train station where arrived and departed from. Eating out is limited in area. There is a restaurant next door, which was booked out the night I visited. But next to that is a very well stocked convenience store with prepackaged meals you can microwave before leaving the shop.
