Honestly, it was exceptional. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature (even with donkeys and a horse!) & Luna, the kindest dog I’ve ever met. Even my slightly grumpy dog completely relaxed around her, which says a lot. The food from Paola is outstanding, proper home-cooked and full of care. Luigi’s hospitality makes you feel like part of the family straight away. We visited out of season and even on the rainy days it felt magical. It’s tucked away up in the mountains, but still an short drive to Assisi and other stunning towns. There are also great walks right from the house (definitely go and find the waterfall) The rooms was very comfortable and well equipped, with huge beds. This is the kind of place you come to properly switch off and relax.

Very calm, nice location, Luigi and Paola are super friendly and always happy to help. Nice house, clean and spatious. Wonderfull garden!

Basaletto was a little bit of paradise on this earth. Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The nature around it is stunning, Assisi just a short drive away - and the hosts simply amazing human beings.
