The location was great and offered peace and tranquility. Mountbatten hut was superb and the food and drink left for us was very much appreciated. We really enjoyed the fire pit and spent hours at night using it. The restaurant recommendations that Paula gave were very good, and we particularly enjoyed the Taste of Kathmandu. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely fell in love with this stay. Everything was truly amazing from start to finish. The space is beautiful, clean, incredibly comfortable, and has that perfect cozy atmosphere to completely switch off from everyday life. It was exactly what we needed to escape the city, relax, and enjoy nature — waking up to the sound of birds, breathing fresh air, and just being present in the moment. It felt so peaceful and special. Paula was very welcoming and Dotty🐶 was adorable! We would highly recommend it without hesitation. Such a special place that we would love to come back to.

This shepherds hut is really lovely - well equipped and in a beautiful situation for a quiet break. Seeing a such a variety of wildlife from the front steps and in the area around made this a very special weekend

Breakfast was great a continental and lots of it,very generous, remote but loved that. The owner was very lovely and kind.
