A warm, very clean, comfortable cottage thar gave us a good base for a six-night stay. Very quiet and restful, with a view of grass and trees. Bathroom was pleasant - towels and toiletries of a good standard. No problems with the kitchen and dining facilities - though we did miss having a sieve, a measuring jug and a set of scales !! but none of those were really essential and we did manage without them. We slept well - thank you. The "welcome" basket of high standard goodies was a kind gift. For us this cottage is well-positioned with easy access to Ashbourne and with Derby fairly close.

A welcome pack was provided with bread, eggs, butter, milk, bananas etc which covered our first breakfast but March Hare is self-catering

Beautiful place, everything you need, comfortable and in a lovely peaceful setting to get away from it all Lots of wildlife to see, owls, rabbits and hares Lovely welcome pack marks and Spencer’s All high end finishes , makes the difference
