The check in staff was super friendly. We were in the villa next door which is a very nice place with a convenient walking location next to a staircase directly up from the main street. The room was perfectly clean, although it was a bit hot. An air-conditioner was already in the room, and while this is not the level of "cool" on gets in hotels in SE Asia, and it was a bit noisy, it did cool the room down. And very nice and quiet.
