We had an excellent stay at Villa Elvi. The villa is perfect and decorated with a lot of taste and attention to details. Even the kitchen is well equipped and there is a washing machine. Everything is very clean. The rooms are spatious and the living room is huge. There is a terrace with a wonderdul view on the Mountains on the one side and a garden with a swimming pool on the other side. Even if the villa may seem isolated, it is central and close to everything we needed and wanted to discover on the Costa Smeralda : beaches, Porto Cervo, ... We would like to thank Elvina, Lucio and Paride for the warm welcome, the excellent advice and their availability. We highly recommend and would be delighted to visit again.

The whole package far exceeds the photographs. It's spotlessly clean and everything is in excellent working order. The 2 bathrooms are beautifully tiled and great showers. There are relaxing areas with seating or sunbeds around the house, so everybody gets to chill out, to be on their own or assemble on the huge shaded balcony at the rear of the house looking onto magnificent granite mountains. At night you hear crickets, in the morning you hear the birds, it's the epitome of tranquillity. The location in Costa Smeralda is perfect and so you can choose a different beach every day, visit all the towns, and marinas if you so wish. The garden has 2 beautiful olive trees to provide shade, the pool is lovely and very well maintained & surrounded by a bank of white and pink shrubs offering great privacy as there is a shared driveway with a separate villa and lower accommodation (totally separated) for the villa owners. The driveway is the only thing you share and you are left completely alone to enjoy the space. The owner will come in to maintain the pool and garden on a discreet basis and you have complete privacy. She is a gracious host. A car is essential here as it's up the hills off the main road, but it's well worth it as the environs are so quiet and peaceful. It's a fantastic house for adults or teenagers, but not a best choice villa for those with very young children simply because the pool is not fenced off, we like free flow access. It's a great place to vacation, there is great natural light, clean invigorating fresh mountain air, tranquillity and the pool is so reenergising. There is good a/c in the living room and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything a cook would need. And a welcome washing machine too. Bedrooms stay cool with shutters, keep them dark during daytime. I highly recommend this villa as we spent a terrific fortnight here.
