All rooms overlook the valley in front of the hotel, with a wonderful view stretching all the way to the sea. Thomas has a small farm with goats, sheep, a donkey, chickens and ducks, as well as lots of kittens, like everywhere else in Crete. We love animals and really enjoyed visiting in the evening while Thomas was feeding them. The pool area is wonderful, and even though we didn't have the opportunity to swim, we appreciated its aesthetics.

Beautiful premises, gorgeous view. Good fresh air. Thomas was extremely forthcoming and helpful. Treated us with a welcome drink and watermelon in the morning. We stayed in a room for five. Simple but spacious and clean.

The location is excellent and the views over the north of the island to the sea are perfect. The apartments are located near the town and are accessed from a steep private drive, Lower down in the valley. The restaurant in the town is good but the short walk to it is up some very steep paths in the town. The four restaurants near the spring are only 800m away but take your car as the walk back is up some steep paths too. There are I think, about 9 apartments all facing north over the valley. we were touring Crete and our two night stay was about right.
