Lovely and efficient staff. Good food in the restaurant and value for money. We used their laundry facility and they booked our taxis.

We stayed at Mc Ellys before and after our safari and were very happy with the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and super helpful. One night, we didn’t have hot water, called the reception and they fixed it within 5 minutes. We had a nice room with a balcony towards Mt Meru.

Basic hotel that had everything you needed. We were here just for the location as a night before/after our safari. Staff were very helpful if we ever needed any help like finding somewhere for a local SIM card or arranging taxis. Bottled water was refilled every day. Location was good - next to markets/hustle bustle of town (just beed earplugs)
