We booked this room last minute and the only room they had left was a dog friendly room. I was a bit concerned it might have a doggy smell and was very pleased that it didn't. We had an enjoyable stay and a lovely breakfast, the staff were very friendly too.

We have stayed at the Village Inn several times and are never disappointed. We arrived much later than expected around 10pm, and the staff were still smiling and still very helpful even after a long day. They were able to accommodate my request for a ground floor room. We stayed in one of the cottage apartments, which was lovely .

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was cosy with a homely atmosphere. Food was excellent with generous servings. Would highly recommend.
