Anemi is high up on a hill above Armenistis so has a view even to far away Chios on clear days. The sunrises over the mountains are amazing. A nice big room with good sized balcony overlooking the town and sea, table, chairs, kitchenette inside with a cleaner coming regularly. Even rainy days were enjoyable. Armenistis is very central to several large and small beaches, mountain villages, rivers and waterfalls cascading down to the sea. Despite being there in winter I had enough sun and warm weather to keep a tan, swim and enjoy the beaches. There's a seven days a week supermarket in the town open until 10 pm.

Out of five places we stayed in Icaria, this was the best in that it was spacious, clean, well equipped, with lovely views, especially from the balcony. The host was helpful and of good humour. The accommodation was situated in a very quiet area and was ideal for what we wanted. Would book again if we returned to the island.

Our stay in Anemi, although it was sort, was excellent. Our room was spacious. Amenities were adequate. Cleanliness was excellent. Our host was great and helpful. We loved the view from our balcony. The location is excellent. Walking distance to everything in Armenistis. Very close to the best beach Mesakti. Anemi is value for money. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we recommend Anemi.

It was spacious, clean and with a breathtaking view. The hosts were very friendly. The common garden is great for morning coffee or your late night hanging outs. It's really close to the center of the village. Only 20-30 minute drive from the Port, and near some great beaches.
