Charming and helpful host who was very responsive to our requests. Heating was limited: the bedrooms were warm but the bathrooms were not heated. A log burner was used to warm up the breakfast area a little. We stayed in March, so I imagine the building would be much warmer in the summer months. A characterful property, 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Amiens.

The peace and quiet, all the time. There is no television. The house is just lovely. The shower is great, and I do like to see a flannel too. There is plenty of parking space, eg. for a camper too. We picnic'd the last of our holiday food on a garden table, while watching horses in the field, at the close of the afternoon. We booked with only 20 minutes of warning, yet Alberic is happy to assist, as is his mother, who does the simple breakfast and makes divine cake bread. This is a very new business, and so far, it is a lovely comfortable place to stopover. They also hold conferences here. We had the whole place to ourselves.
