The ceiling fan in the room was very helpful specially because of the intense August heat. The manager was very helpful in keeping some of our purchased meat in the fridge and in giving us cold water for our thermoses!

Nice hotel with good parking and friendly, helpful staff. The building itself is pretty smart and spaciously laid out. The hotel is a short distance from the centre of town, but we ended up staying in the bar and ate in the restaurant. The meal was very good, although the restaurant itself is a little plain, lacking soft furnishings or plants, hence little atmosphere. As it happens, we met some interesting guests there, cyclists and motorcyclists, so our stay felt very sociable.
