The fine print
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

The staff was very friendly and as helpful as possible (not easy to do as my Spanish is limited as was the English skills of the front desk employees). The room was suitable for one person. The internet connection was generally satisfactory. The breakfast room was beautifully situated with fabulous views of the city and the two majestic volcanic mountains. I particularly liked the location; it was very close to most of the places I wanted to see. I found my bed to be comfy. The shower was satisfactory. I always like hotels that use refillable hair and body care containers as this one had. The dried coca leaves and hot water were much appreciated.

What a find! The nest stay in Peru to date. Great location, great staff, wonderful bed in comfortable room. Piping hot showers. Just perfect! I see they also have places in Cusco and Colca!!!

The room was spacious, the rooftop view to the volcanos is great and the breakfast is good. The beds and bedding are comfortable. We had a quiet room even though the street was a little bit busy. The personnel are helpful and kind.

We had nice stay, the hotel is located close to center and the staff was very friendly. Big plus was unlimited supply of hot water.
