The location was idyllic, very pretty and peaceful, a lovely base from which to explore the area. The host, Penny, was very friendly and flexible. The cottage, which is a large studio room, had everything you needed. I didn't have time to cook myself breakfast with the ingredients left, the bacon and eggs would have been great! The bed was super comfortable.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, very well equipped, great facilities. Lovely friendly host. Delicious breakfast and great snacks. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud

The Lodge is in a beautiful setting within the Wakehurst Estate and this is the second time we have stayed there. Accommodation is very comfortable, warm and spotless and has everything you need. Penny is an excellent host.Highly recommend!
