What makes this ryokan special is its location and the owners. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and huuuge. The owners are so sweet and friendly and the husband sang a traditional song at dinner and taught our kids the Kiso Bushi dance. The rooms are a good size and easily fit our family of 4 plus our luggage

Beautiful wood Ryokan with modern toilets and a small private hot bath. The rooms were comfortable and had windows to the main street. Seeing the town at night was a special experience and early morning empty streets meant we could take great pictures.

1 night stay in Magome Juku whilst walking Nakasendo. I really enjoyed the accommodation and appreciated having a seperately living area and the beds already made up.
