The location as the views are amazing. Friendly welcome. The farm animals and piglets had just been born when we arrived. The farm cat, Purple, who loves to make himself at home if the door is left even slightly open 🙂

We had a wonderful time at the farm. Rebecca and Joe are wonderful, sweet and welcoming people, busy farmers as well as looking after the beautifully restored holiday cottage where we stayed. We all enjoyed being near Margot the pig, Purple the cat, Pedro the cockerel, the hens, the sheepdogs, and the goats. And the grandchildren were thrilled to collect fresh eggs for breakfast from the henhouse in the yard, to be astonished at how rough Margot's bristles were, and to stroke Purple the affectionate grey cat. And it is such beautiful serene countryside, with the air so fresh, the view up to the hills, and the River Wharfe running at the bottom of the valley.

The cottage was clean, cosy and welcoming. We loved seeing all the farm animals, very welcoming to pets and Rebecca and Joey were always happy to chat and super friendly. The homemaking was delicious and lovely fresh laid eggs were a great touch to make us feel at home. The farm is based in a lovely area with so much to do for everyone, we would love to come back again and explore more.
