the room was to a pretty high standard for a country pub style, all clean and tidy, with spotless shower room, and good amount of space for a single too. just be aware that as in the case when I stayed there was a private party in the bar, a fair amount of customers in high spirits were very audible throughout, so not really possible to get an early night, once the pub was closed it was super quiet. not a complaint just something to be mindful of.

Great location. The village is beautiful and really easy to get to. Beds were huge and the rooms were quiet. Food was amazing and the staff and locals are very friendly.
