Some people say it's a bit outdated, but I didn't think so, it was very thai and beautiful. Room was big and had a massive bathtub. Pool was clean and nice. Staff was also very kind.

Ao Nang Bay Resort was only a short walk from the main streets it was quiet at night. Happy Hour from 3-5pm in the swim up bar.
