We truly loved our experience with this family. We stayed for two nights, went on a full-day safari, enjoyed a delicious meal and our guide gave us excellent explanations. We were lucky to see many animals and are very grateful for the wonderful moments we shared with this family. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality.

From the moment you arrive, the hosts make you feel very welcome. They are warm, kind, and always ready to help. The food is amazing, both breakfast and dinner are tasty and made with traditional Sri Lankan recipes. Nilukshan also organizes fun activities. He knows a lot about nature, wildlife, and culture, and his English is very good. He is also happy to give advice and help you plan the rest of your trip. We did the safari to Wilpattu with him and this was fantastic. If you get the chance to stay here, don’t miss it. This homestay is a true highlight of Sri Lanka!

We had two wonderful days at Sweet Home Tourist Rest and felt very comfortable in the familiar setting of this guest house. The breakfast was excellent, there is even a fridge with water and beer available and the hosts immediately organised a contact for us with an extremely pleasant local guide! Two intense days in an impressive place.
