Very warm welcome from friendly, helpful hosts. Comfy bed in a spacious room. Restaurants, bakery and supermarket within 5 mins walk. An evening stroll around the lake is good for sunset and birdlife.

The host was friendly and offered us a tour around the city ‘s sites for a decent price. However, the toilet barely flushed and there was a huge cockroach in our room. Got the host’s number but he was barely reachable. We also slept right by the front door so we got woken up many times by people arriving late or leaving early or just talking loudly in the hallway. At the end of our stay, the host offered us a ride to the train station for a reasonable price. Location is nice, right by the lake.

The hosts are incredibly kind and offer a lot of guidance and support for your time in Anuradhapura. The room is spacious and the location is great in terms of exploring the area. There's a supermarket and some restaurants nearby too. Close enough to the station as well - just a short tuktuk away. Great base for the area.

We had a great stay. The house is perfectly located, supermarket, ATM and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. The room has everything you need and is very clean. What made our stay so special was the host family. One of the most helpful and nicest families we have met in Sri Lanka. They organized us a safari in Wilpattu at a reasonable price, they gave us a tour of Mihintale and kindly took us to the bus with a tuktuk. Bike rental also available. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Really clean and pretty. Hosts were so kind, and really caring! Also arranged a driver for us for Mihintale and Anuradhapura city, he was also great. We loved it there, would definetly stay again!

We loved our stay here, its in a great location and really good value for money. What made it amazing though was the people, the family we stayed with were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. They even drove us around wherever we needed to go. Would 100% recommend staying here!

Very clean room. Very considerate manager ensuring I had mosquito prevention turned on in room. He ensured fan etc was working and asked me to check the room was ok. He was aware I was solo traveller and gave me advice on keeping safe and where to go.
