The homestay was absolutely beautiful and felt really comfortable and homely. The location was also brilliant, walking and cycling distance from all the main sites (and the kind hosts helped sort bikes out for us to use). The hosts were so kind and went above and beyond to accommodate us and explain where all the best sites are and give handy tips. It was great chatting with them and getting to know a bit more about the area! The food was also incredible. The best breakfast and lunch we had for our whole trip. 10/10 recommend.

This was an amazing stay - a homestay in the true sense where you feel you are a welcome guest in the family home. Everything about the room was comfortable, including the bed, air conditioning, fan and new clean bathroom. Breakfast is available on request and was delicious. The couple let me wash and dry my clothes as well. The owners had family living the same small city as well so we had a chat on the phone, and it was lovely to make these connections. The hosts can help you with everything to do with transport and seeing the area. There is a bicycle rental just a minute's walk away. The location is great - as close as you can realistically get to the temples, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Warm welcome with a cup of tea and beautiful garden. The owner was kind renting a bicycle for us ,the breakfast was so good ever during my journey, highly recommend the stay and enjoy the village .

The owner is the sweetest man in sri lanka: he is up for a meaningful conversation and goes out of his way to be incredibly helpful! The garden is beautiful as well, they keep all different kinds of plants. The location is outside the busy centre, but close by the stupa’s and the Bothi tree. There are nice local restaurants just around the corner. All in all, we had a great time!
