This qualifies as a home stay. The owners are really nice and since there are only two extra rooms it is quiet at night. The kitchen and room are clean. It is close to town and to the hiking trails. However, a car would be helpful getting around staying here.

This was definitely the best accommodation we had during our road trip around Panama. The room was nice and clean (a small minus — it was not clean under the bed), and the bathroom was excellent — actually the best one we had during our whole trip. The kitchen was very clean and regularly maintained, which I really appreciated. I would rate the cleanliness very highly — it was the only place during our trip where I felt completely comfortable using the kitchen and dishes, as everything was spotless. The house itself has a very pleasant atmosphere, and there were also two wonderful dogs that made the place even more charming. One of them, Apollo, once followed us into town — we were really worried when he didn’t come back at night, but the next morning we saw him peacefully sleeping, safe and sound. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay — for me, it’s a 10 out of 10, and I truly recommend this accommodation. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!
