My friend and I couldn't land on Terceira Island the first day, so we arrived the next day. On the airport on São Miguel, waiting, we read all the horrible reviews this place has gotten - and we were inventing stories. We entertained ourselves with how many bugs there will be, how it's gonna be the worst choice ever - but when we arrived, we found a clean, cozy appartment with the most beautiful view! We found the perfect place for our needs, to cook, to relax and to go to the city - so near! We were laughing at all the stories we read here on Booking and wondered what sort of people the previous visitors had been.. We found ONE cockroach. That is to be expected on the islands - unless the appartment is totally poisoned against bugs, and it is not. The inner yard led unto the roof and I used it to work online. With my portable connection it worked perfectly! I could easily have stayed for a lot longer there! But we only had those 3 days!

The place is nice, good location. The property manager, however, could have been more interactive. Though he responded accordingly to all my questions, there could be more information. There was a second floor that has never been explained, as an attic door full of things on the stairs. I'm sure the attic could provide a good view of the sea for who would seek for it.
