So overall, The Lamb was excellent and just what I needed. Although effectively a pub that has rooms over, the room I had (Zebedee Pesket) was scrupulously clean, comfortable and well appointed, well above expectations for a Public House venue. Shower was very powerful and the Nespresso machine with biscuits that were replenished was a lovely touch. I didn't eat dinner at the pub but based on the breakfast I would have high expectations as breakfast was really lovely. Full table service and well cooked. It was an expensive two nights, but at least it was a lovely experience.

Wonderful friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms. The food in the restaurant, lunch dinner and breakfast was extremely good. Great place to stay.

Lovely room, evening meal in restaurant was excellent as was our breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and also the locals in the bar. Would highly recommend.

Good parking. Nice room of reasonable size. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee pod machine in room. Nice food but not cheap.
