Delightful auberge and very welcoming. A perfect stop location on our route south and taking dogs too, but at €10 for doggie a bit on the high side. The host was a delightful bloke after a long journey.

Run by a pleasant and helpful husband and wife team, this traditional hotel makes a good stopover. Set beside a very quiet rural road, there is hardly any traffic at night and we had a peaceful sleep. Dinner was good and we believe all the food is home made. The cassoulet cooked by Monsieur was delicious. Breakfast was good too, with generous choices on offer which were far more than we could eat. It's unlikely that you'll be able to park immediately outside the hotel, but there's plenty of free off-road parking accessed from the road just opposite. The only thing to be aware of is to read the room descriptions closely. The pool-view and garden-view rooms have an en-suite shower, but no toilet. There's one loo at the end of the corridor. For this reason, we upgraded to a "chambre supériere".

The locations was quiet but local town wasn't too far away as well as a train station. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food available was amazing, local and fresh.
