The Hotel is right on the river side and we managed to get a room with a river view, so a bonus. Not sure if all rooms are the same, but ours was large enough, though a quirky shape. The shower and sink area is a huge walk in wet room. However, be aware, it has no door, so it's ok if you are with your partner, but could be slightly less so if sharing with friends etc. Thankfully the toilet does have a door :) Unfortunately due to German bank holiday traffic, we arrived much later than we planned. Most of the restaurants in town were closed. However, the Hotel's Sky Bar restaurant accommodated us and we had a fabulous steak burger and Weiss beer along with great views. The Hotel sort of doubles as an art gallery, with sculptures and art all around the hotels and grounds. It was great to have breakfast outside in such a setting. The Hotel has a parking garage underneath with ample parking, but is height restricted. As we have a VW Transporter, we couldn't park in the garage, however, the hotel has around 10-15 parking spots around the hotel so wasn't a problem. The Hotel is ideally located right on the river and there is a lovely promenade, park and beer garden opposite. The Hotel is also close to the centre as well as a variety of bars and restaurants. Supermarkets are around a 15-20 walk away. As we were travelling by car on our way back to the UK, the Hotel is easily accessed from the A3 and A61 making for a great stop over choice. Though you could easily spend a few days there. The Hotel is also Pet Friendly (small charge)
