Cynthia was a pleasure to deal with at the reception. This hotel is exceptional, the decor, the view, the cleanliness. It is a very peaceful, calming place to stay. The breakfast exceeded all expectations. I have since recommended this spectacular, family run hotel to my other family members.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There is an outside elevator on the left of the stairs which made bringing in and carrying out suitcases much easier. I was chilly in my room the first night (evidently the local municipality does not allow hotels to turn on their heat until November 1) so they provided a heater and extra blankets. Breakfast was very good. The location is wonderful - we had an ocean view. We took the public elevator down to the water - well worth a euro. The ocean was just amazing. We were on the opposite side of the peninsula to the old town but it was a lovely walk to the old quarter. Had I known how charming Ancona was I would have stayed longer!
