Arleta “comfortable staying in the city centre”

The hotel was very comfortable, located in the city center. We felt safe and comfortable there. All the staff, from the receptionists and security to the cleaners, electrician, and waiters, were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel restaurant is also highly recommended. The hotel also has parking.

Hassle free stay, the staff were efficient and helpful, nice room, well located within the downtown, as solo female traveller I recommend this hotel as it is within walking distance to resto/cafe/pub and to the Anchorage Museum. Another advantage this hotel has coffee shop and I loved their brownies for my everyday hot latte while in Anchorage. And when you feel don’t want to go out, their in-house resto also nice (served good beer and delicious seafood chowder).

We stayed here from March 18th to 20th in Anchorage, and overall our stay was pleasant, with a few mixed moments. The welcome at reception wasn’t the best, as the staff member didn’t feel particularly welcoming. He explained how to reach our room using a map, which was helpful because the hotel is very large and quite complex, with multiple levels, wings, and elevators. Once in the room, we started unpacking but soon realized that the heating was not working. We contacted assistance, and they confirmed the issue. Since the room was very cold, we had to pack again and were moved to another room, which was smaller but functional and warm. In general, the rooms are nice and practical, although the walls are quite thin. Despite this, the overall stay turned out to be comfortable. What really stood out in a positive way was the breakfast. We had breakfast there both mornings, and it definitely lifted our experience. The food was excellent — we had avocado toast and salmon, both very fresh and delicious. The waitress was also very kind and friendly. The location is another strong point: the hotel is right in the city center, close to everything, including souvenir shops and the train station, which makes it very convenient. Overall, despite the initial inconveniences, we had a pleasant stay. With a bit more attention to the welcome and room maintenance, the experience could be even better.
