We had a brilliant stay at Bente's Lodge. Spectacular location with a view of snowcapped mountains and small streams from rooms. Rooms are spacious, with clean bathrooms and bed heater. The location is peaceful and secluded ( Tip: Google location is not accurate. Better to call the owner from the petrol pump at Pahalgam. They offer free ride to the property. This is recommended even if you come with your own vehicle). We enjoyed short walks to the river bank through the valleys. They have simple and delicious food offerings. The owner Jamshed is very cordial. They arrange for day hikes around Pehelgam with guide. We certainly hope to come back here.

The property exceeded our expectations in all departments - room, view, food and cleanilness. Hosts were also very kind and polite.

The stay was great. It is in the middle of the mountains with an amazing view and such fresh air. The rooms were spacious enough and the washrooms were also clean. The hosts were exceptionally hospitable. The food was great as well. Overall a great stay for nature lovers.

The caretakers are excellent. They came to pick us/drop us in their 4x4 as the property is a little off-road. They have a common area which is an excellent place to relax. The rooms have a beautiful view, there is a little stream nearby. The service is prompt.
